Sorry I've not kept up with posting. I have £30 left in food budget to see us to the 23rd April but have plenty in the freezer and pantry so this should be fine. Dinners this week: Chicken and Mushroom pie using chicken and pastry from the freezer (Monday & Tuesday), tonight and tomorrow will be Spaghetti Bolognese using mince from the freezer and spaghetti from pantry. After that we may do a soup and pudding couple of nights or HM pizza. Hoping to spend zero on groceries for the rest of this week. I'll spend this weekend getting organised for week beginning 19th as I am back at work tht week and need o make sure dinners and lunches are planned and ready to go.7

I'm finnnnaaallllly back on Wifi after my housemove
. I am going to blow the budget, as i forgot about Amazon subscribe and save items. Some of which i didnt really need; but just was unable to cancel. Also, i fell under the lure of a £12 off voucher from Morrisons

So a little optimistic this month; but i have been pretty good at mealplanning; and now so much easier with all the right shops within reach.

Have been offline since 8th of this month thanks to Open Reach (grrr) -suggested new company logo "neither competent nor punctual"- and am just getting up to date with various threads after finally getting back online yesterday.
Very much missed this forum and especially the Old Style threads and will update my totals as soon as I've got on top of all my various backlogs; waving hello to everyone and an especial wave for newbies, goldfinches.9 -

£102 spent between yesterday & today at the bakers, the supermarket & the market this morning. Which is too much... having DS3 home, plus regular visits, usually involving several meals, from DD1's boyfriend, is proving expensive! Just over £100 for the rest of the month.... it'll be touch & go.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6
