I wasn't sad to leave Three, they raised their prices and got rid of their rewards app never to replace it, both spoke volumes in how much they valued me as a customer.
I'm now with Lebara on the MSE deal and couldn't be happier. Having unlimited calls & texts is fab. Plus more data included than I'll ever use. All for just £5pm after first 3 months at £2.50.
Got rid of our landline paid calls boost at home as well.1 -
I think I may need to change went off wifi for a while yesterday,
Once we are out of lockdown there will be more time off wifi.
Checking the balance and it is going down a lot faster than I like, or used to, 17p has gone and only use was a bit of data data looks like around 3MB mostly chrome
Did notice they still have the day 50p 120MB top up option which I found very handy when on walk about away from regular wifi
options ? ( I have spare data reward )
O2 classic, not as good for extra data and as long as the regular top up not required as reported then probably closest
Sky 100MB plan(£42 3years with phone) £6 1GB extra and piggy banks.
data reward for 200MB/m but they don't have the 50p day top up cheapest is a 30 day £10 2GB
Dual sim so can mix, but messes up things attached to number like whatsapp
Land line hardly used these days so could drop that completely, its with VM
Still thinking this one through.0 -
Lebara are currently offering unlimited calls, texts and 3GB data through the MSE link. £2.50 per month first 3 months then £5pm.
£10 free credit when you port in your number.
In our house we've ditched our paid Anytime LL calls boost and both transferred mobiles (Three & Tesco) to Lebara.
I LOVE having unlimited calls and texts it's very liberating.2 -
It might be worth going through application settings, cutting off background data, change email and other message synch interval or make it manual only, use very stripped down browser settings for some of the time e.g. images offgetmore4less said:I think I may need to change went off wifi for a while yesterday,

I don't think dual SIM is an issue for WhatsApp. It's independent once set up. The number I use on there and give for incoming calls is on a SIM in a separate phone.
On that Sky plan, you seem to mention the data rolls over if unused. Have I understood this right, and if you add a bundle does that also roll over or it runs out in a month?1 -

My wife ported her number by texting PAC and her DoB (ddmmyy) to 65075, where she got a code in return. Then using the O2 online form to port numbers to them, she gave the given code and other details (like the temporary O2 number you get with the SIM that's sent to you, the number you want to keep, etc). About a day later, her old Three PAYG number was now her O2 Classic PAYG number. It worked fine.RebekahR said:Qew said:
My wife bought from eBay an O2 Classic PAYG SIM, which is 321 equivalent. The one she bought activated fine, and she's now paying what she did when on Three's 321. The only real difference is that minimum top-up is £10 rather than Three's £5.RebekahR said:Hi Everyone!I'm currently one threes 1,2,3p pricing plan. Or was ...! They have put prices up now. I don't use the phone very much so looking for something cheap and similar. Ideally covering data and calls mostly but I call rarely from it.What has everyone moved to?Thanks in advance!
Would I be able to carry my phone number over to it? Or would that not count as not an existing number?
If you search for "uswitch porting your mobile phone number" in Google or some other search engine, the first link will likely be a page giving you further details about the process. I can't post a link, as I'm too new to do so.
I'd also advise the text route, as it means that you don't have to speak to them, which you might not be willing to do. The text is automatically responded to.
Perfect! Thank you your very helpful!!

Well I tend to use it more for data so it will soon add up! I rarely use calls - can use landline - used to use mobile over landline due to how cheap it was before though! So for me it's primarily data. Never text any moreSaveMeDo said:I got on the Three chat system yesterday after reading this thread...I asked if I was still on the 123 tariff, he said no, it's now 10p 10p 5p.He said my credit would never expire, BUT I would have to make a paying call every so often, which wasn't the case before. So the cost has gone up by a factor of X10, !!!Low users, need to be aware of these changes, might be wise to move on, which is what I'm doing.
