Would leave at is and spend my money on garden furniture. It just needs dressing a bit. Sell a lifestyle.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*3

What furniture would you put in? We have large table and chairs on the patio (to the right just out of view).hazyjo said:Would leave at is and spend my money on garden furniture. It just needs dressing a bit. Sell a lifestyle.

Don't change the blank canvas. Plenty of people will wish to create their own gardens.3

I wouldn't do anything either. Looks lovely to me!

Ah that's good then. Thought it was a plain patio. Prob won't need much more. People say others aren't fooled, but it really can help, especially with a garden. Hard with crap weather, but on a warm day, just make it look like you're out there at the time. Make it attractive.davilown said:

Really wouldn't touch the garden at all. You don't want to distract from its size or layout. Great selling feature! Mine is tiny in comparison.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*2 -
I like it is it is. Nice patio area which is clean. It has some nice trees, a good lawn. Someone can put their stamp on it.If you wanted to add something, you could add a summerhouse type building, with electricity at the end of the garden (maybe for those WFH?). Some lighting might add interest at dusk. I used to work for a landscaping company and some of the lighting was beautiful, it really added an edge to the gardens in the evening. I think it’s lovely as it is. Low maintenance, only the grass cutting to do!2

Any suggestions on the lighting? That would be great way to make it look good at night!Weathergirl_76 said:I like it is it is. Nice patio area which is clean. It has some nice trees, a good lawn. For the lighting, maybe some warm coloured spotlights against the trees would look good. I also remember they used to add recessed spotlights into decking and patios a lot, or plant bamboo in borders with spotlights behind them. Some would be on timers or remotes. The effects were amazing.2

Maybe buy some tubs and plant up some summer bedding plants or small shrubs. You can take them with you when you move.
Also solar stick lights around the edge of the patio.?2
