Well hello again @savingwannabe - Yeah I ended up going AWOL from the boards for a long time but I am back with a new focus and determination now.
I've bought more things new that I probably would have if I had access to the charity shops. I've got most of the stuff I want on a list but will wait till I'm in before I order anything else.
My H2B ISA has been a massive help, I earned just about £1,400ish for having my deposit in a specific bank account. This will pay for all my solicitor fees plus give me back about 1/2 of what I've spent to far furnishing the place.
I'll list what I've bought and my total spends in another post tomorrow.
12 days till I get my keys, well really 11 cos today is pretty much done and dusted isn't it!3 -
Thanks @Skint_yet_Again I am so chuffed with the sofa, it was almost identical to one I had on my list to buy and it would have cost me about £995.00.3
