Settling a debt with PPC
Comments
-
At the moment the alleged debt has been handed over to Debt Recovery Plus on a no win no fee (which you would be paying anyway) contract with the `ppc. The PPC cannot let you pay them the fee direct until Debt Recovery Plus give up and hand it back to them, that's just the way they work it.As stated above you need to urgently change your address details with the DVLA but remember doing it now will not inform any PPC that has already got your old address they can only ask once per infringement and that is where people can end up with default CC judgments against them.3

As indicated above, send a Data Rectification Notice to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Initial Parking by using the following: -
privacy@initialparking.co.uk
requiring them to a) take note of your address for service, b) ERASE any old data they hold on you and c) inform all of their agents of your new address.3 -
No not contacted an MP for support, can you point me to any guidance on how to do that? In your experience, is court likely?D_P_Dance said:Why would you wish to speak to a PPC. In matters such as this, where court is likely, everything should be on paper. Have you enlisted the support of your MP?0 -

Have you enlisted the support of your MP?Initial Parking are relatively new kids on the block, so not a lot of history to look back on to judge their potential litigiousness. But more and more are taking the court route in the hope they can scare enough punters into paying up to avoid a meeting with a Judge. You're not frightened of that, are you? It's not The Executioner you'd be facing! How likely? You guess. That's all we can do.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

1) Google, and write in your words
2) Not a hope of being able to assess that, as we see only a small cross section of people. Have a search of the forum0
