I don't think the OP will get a reply if they ring before the bank opens.born_again said:_shel said:

After going through endless menus and entering my account and sort code together with voice recognition I am told they are not taking any phone calls by automated message. I then go to the branch and am told I can't make an appointment.Randomly over the year I ring Lloyds and go through the above and am told the same thing and get cut off.Today some 11 months later it is no different as they are still not answering the phone. WHY NOT????I don't want to trek into town to get turned away at the door so how can I contact this useless bank to see if I can make an appointment at branch?
I would suggest that the OP tries ringing at different times. Best is usually just before they open.0 -
No but you are in the queue waiting.EarthBoy said:

As someone that takes calls. By far the fastest time is when staff all start working. As everyone is free to take the calls waiting. Rather than later in the day when staff are all busy on calls.Life in the slow lane0 -
Where I work the phones open at 08.00 am and it's no use ringing before 08.00 am as there's no queue to wait in. You'd just get a recorded message saying we're open from 08.00 am.born_again said:
