Do you know where this cat park is / who owns the car park that they think the vehicle was?

I really do not think that the how and the why are important, if the car was not there it was not there.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Has this actually been closed out? Has the PLC dropped or removed the charge?

Thank you @Daffodil78 for update. Hopefully this has quietly slipped away, but do come back if anything further develops. Unfortunately they have 6 years from the date of the incident to issue court proceedings.

If you move address during that period, you must - to avoid any court claim going to the former address without your knowledge - inform the PPC of the new address. Keeps you safe from a default CCJ, with its credit-wrecking potential.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you Umkomaas. I hope I do not have to come back, but it is reassuring to know that I can. Thanks again for the help.
  • Clear breach of GDPR.  If they chase later, I would bring a simple money claim under Art82.  Hopefully you won’t hear anything further though.
