Not going quite as smoothly as I hoped.
My FTBer is edgy as they haven’t received the draft contract yet.
All docs been with my solicitor since before I even had an offer back 11th / 12th Feb.
Memorandum of sale went out 8th March
Anyone have any ideas how long this part usually takes? Estate agent says usually very fast and the buyer is pestering them.
solicitor is shocking and ignores most of my emails.
debating whether to bin them off and get another.

Hi Crashy
This is what I said to EA. I was even hoping to take advantage of it myself, but doubt I’d get it all wrapped up quick enough given how busy they all are. If I do it’s just a bonus isn’t it... FTB will just have to be patient, as must I. There’s also still the effects of covid and they’ve since advised me they have 2 members of staff off sick so 🤷🏼♀️ What can you do.We missed out on our previous property, so I have an offer in now with a vendor on the dreaded purple bricks! No reply yet after offer placed Saturday PM so waiting to see how that plays out0
