Morning All,I haven't been around much because my new MSE project (Money Spending Expert
) aka The Pup has arrived and taken up all my time. But I have been reading diaries when I can.Not much to report on the financials, mortgage OP is just the monthly DD, usual DDs into the SIPP and S&S ISA, ISA gains are looking good again this month. No time for surveys, but I have made a bit of progress with the electricity meter - even if it is only SSE saying the smart meter hasn't been registered (still
).But I will be picking my first cucumber of the year today - good thing too, they seem to be one of the things Sainsburys can't get onto the shelves.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8565 -

The Pup has been with us a week now and is settling in really well, Doggo is turning out to be an awesome big brother and does lots of the heavy-lifting for us by tiring him out, absorbing puppy bites, and modelling good behaviour! From an MSE perspective - we can't go anywhere until he's fully vaccinated, by which time, we'll be back at work and too busy to spend money! (On the other hand there is a lovely dog friendly pub on the way home from work - with Doggo, we refer to stopping there as 'dog training', because he was learning to be calm and settle in public

@KC it doesn't work with all dogs, but we always knew Doggo was very patient and unreactive with other dogs we meet, even the ones who go nuts and bark (he has a "what you on about bro?" expression
). Of course he has some bad habits we'll try to avoid Pup seeing!South_coast said:

@South_coast - I said something very similar to a friend who asked when we would be home for a visit
