Well,

As luck would have it, both wifes and my car are in need of new tyres all round (lucky me eh)!

Anybody any suggestions on best place to go both for quality of service and price?

Cheers

Pete

Give https://www.etyres.co.uk a look, my brother used them recently and says they are pretty good.

They supply and fit the tyres at your home.
  • KWIK-FIT had an offer on a week or so ago for 4 tyres supplied and fitted for either £40 , £60 or £80 depending on size . But beware the add on sales con of charging a fortune for valves and balancing . Valves are probably a neccessity but you can get them balanced at another garage .

also kwik-fit have the habit fo finding other "work" that needs doing. and its usually expensive!
  • Have a look here - we have used them twice. Tyres are fitted at a local fitter but paid for online. Worked a treat both times and we couldn't beat the price.

Tyrespot (if you're in Co. Durham, Tyne & Wear or S. Northumberland) or CostCo (in that order).

In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice
