As a buyer I can't say that a virtual tour ever made me want to book a viewing when I was undecided but it did stop me from going to see a few properties. For me a good floor plan and loads of pictures were far more important.

As I buyer, I LOVE them.
It's so much easier to visualise the rooms and where you'd put your own furniture when you can see the whole way round it. Agents that only use photos never seem to take them from the right angles!

I like the concept but I'd be damned if I was going to pay more for it on top of the EA fee. They want to sell my place at the best price and earn their commission, it's their job to market it in the best way possible.

Maybe that's easy for me to rationalise as I've got a decent size house so they'd be making 5 figures any ways up, but I just think it's cheeky to have it as an 'extra'...

I love a virtual tour. It was the standard of their tours that pushed us to use the agent we chose for our sale.
Having said that, the house we are buying just had standard photos, as did all of the houses we actually viewed so in the end, if someone wants your house they'll view it/buy it regardless.
