  • Thanks :)

Happy Saturday all. It's raining so hard here it woke me up this morning, the pooch is NOT interested in walkies :D  and to be honest, I am in agreement.

PAD today is £36 to CC7 made from Vinted sales and £13 from Prolific too. It'll be a NSD for me as I have no plans except popping out to post another Vinted sale.

Monday is pay day so I should be able to make a bigger PAD as I have some funds left this month. As it stands today, that final projected payment is £256 which I think is too much to blitz unless some of my higher value items start selling on Vinted. We will have to see...

    33 days to go...

My dog won’t go out in the rain. It’s a mixture of sun and rain here.

  • Good morning everyone, and happy pay day eve to me 😝 I’ve sent £30 to the credit card which is the last of my funds this month. No plans to spend today so it’s a NSD for me.

I’m already missing that hour in bed, hubby is working today so he got up at 4:15 and the dog was awake then… so by default I was awake too 😞

I’ve some cleaning and laundry to do today and maybe some crafting this afternoon. We aren’t having a big roast dinner today (for once), I’m doing pie instead which should be a bit quicker and easier.

Not much else to report at the moment. Nothing to cash out on Prolific, some funds are on their way from Vinted but haven’t hit the bank yet. Lots of interest in my more expensive items but no sales yet. Hopefully it’ll start moving at the end of the month when people have been paid. 🤞

I’m excited for tomorrow when I will get that balance down below the £1k mark!

    Have a lovely Sunday!

So, it turns out I've mis-calculated but to my benefit. I've just checked the CC app and I'm actually at £1404! I've missed £7 somewhere (probably a late in the day Prolific cashout)

    Happy days :)

  • Good morning! It's pay day for me and it's now just 31 days until my DFD!  My payment to CC7 this morning was £505 and I have also added £45 to the sealed cash envelope challenge and my 1p challenge amount for April which is £31.25.

Today will be a NSD and I have a lot to do at work so it will be an early start and a late finish too. No sign of the Vinted payment yet and nothing available to cash out on Prolific.

So, with my savings I have enough to clear my card now. today - finally free... what do I do? It's savings, so it wouldn't leave me short for the month. It would be replenished naturally over the next month.

    what do I dooooo?

Leave your savings where they are.

It is only a month until you are debt free and the debt is 0%.

I'm inclined to agree with RS. You'll earn more on your savings with it being 0%. Be patient 😆

  • I am so impatient :D But you're right, it's 0% so I should leave my savings where they are.

£11 sent to CC7 though as I've just cashed out from Prolific

Yep, another advocate for leaving the savings as is. I've realised that I really need to get on top of my savings as there's no point reducing debt but having nothing to fall back on.
