Just 39 days to go LMD. There must have been days when the thought of being debt free felt like being debt free was just a dream. Amazing turnaround in your finances

I'm counting down the days with you. I'm excited for you :)

Can't wait until we are in the same situation in a few years time.
  • Thanks RS, I am quite excited about it and really want to sell these extra things on Vinted so I can try and clear it even quicker. I have more than £900 of items listed so we will see what happens and if I have to do any wheeler-dealing offers to get them gone.

Today's PAD is £5 to CC7, nothing else available other than my basic PAD. I am in the office today so it's not a NSD and I won't get to do any surveys. I am at home the rest of the week though so should be good for surveys and NSDs

I have been a bit MSE today though... I've brought a jar of coffee and my water bottle from home so I don't spend money on canteen drinks :) Every little helps given that I drink coffee like my life depends on it :D

Hope you all have a good Monday

  • Good morning
Another early start for me and I'm super busy with work so I am certain the day will fly by. One of my friends suggested meeting for dinner this evening and I was money savvy and offered to cook. Hubby is working tonight so it will be nice to have some company.

I had details of my pay review through yesterday, it's late this year so to be honest I wasn't expecting anything. Surprisingly it's 3.5% which I'm not disappointed with. I know that given the cost of living it's probably a reduction in real terms but it's better than nothing.

Today will be a NSD for me again and I have made £7 PAD to the credit card. A little more as it's now close to pay day with few outgoings due.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday, it's clear blue skies and sunshine at the moment which always gives me a lift.

Well done on getting a pay rise. It all helps.

Our next pay review is the end of June, beginning of July.
  • Morning everyone, I'm glad it's almost the end of the week, it's been very busy this week and I'm ready for some down-time.

Can't wait for pay day on Monday, although I have received some birthday money this morning in my cards I am not using this for debt payments. I will likely save it until there's something I need or want. When I make my CC7 payment on Monday it will take me under the £1k barrier which is so exciting!

Today will be a NSD, I have no plans as hubby is working nights. Just me and the dog tonight with a movie and popcorn. My PAD was £30 to the credit card, made up of my basic PAD, Prolific cash out and a WeAre8 payment. I still have £20 pending in Prolific too which is great :)

Not much else to report, it's all ticking along nicely at the moment.  I hope everyone has a great day!

You're doing great LMD and it just goes to show that with the right mindset, a little research and sheer determination you can take a whopping £42k debt down to ZERO.

    A big congratulations.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

  • A £6 Vinted payment has hit the bank so that's been sent to CC7, that projected final figure is now just £293!
