  • I have them plain, and hubby has honey on his. Not very often I fancy jam to be honest.

It was slippery here this morning too RS, and now it keeps trying to rain.

We had a change of plan and have just finished the roast dinner, will just have a snack this evening after the footy.

I'm desperate for a roast, but lacking the capabilities to do my tastebuds justice 😁. My son's getting super excited about the football and his cousins are coming over to watch it with him.

  • I love making a roast Keedie, it’s all about the timing I find… we had all the trimmings with pigs in blankets and some lovely stuffing. Not many Sundays go by where we don’t have a roast when we are at home, even in the summertime.

I hope your son is enjoying the football ⚽️

  • I love a good roast dinner, been craving one all week, I'm planning on doing mine tomorrow even if its just for me. I'll probably just make extra of everything and have it Tuesday as well. You're doing well with profilic atm, seems to have slowed down for me. Hopefully get a few more small ones as close to cashing out.

  • I have to admit, it was a fab roast dinner yesterday. Next one will be a bit more pressure haha!

Hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend... we are now into Christmas week and I am getting quite giddy about giving out final gifts, catching up with friends and then hosting family. Not so much the trip to the dentist but hey, can't have everything can we? :D

Today will be a NSD and I made my PAD this morning of £10 to CC7.  This included £6 cash out from Prolific topped up from my account, I still have more waiting approval but as @Makingabobor2 said, the uni's will be breaking up so may not get approved over the festive period.

Speaking or breaking up, tomorrow is my last day of work before Christmas and I am excited to have a good long run of annual leave/days off.  Lately my days off have been for hectic trips away or decorating the house... I want an afternoon of movies under a blanket with hot chocolate! :)

Tomorrow is also pay day so we will see that CC balance start with a 4 whoop!

Lucky you getting paid tomorrow, I have to wait until the 31st but we can view payslips from the 21st - talk about look but don’t touch 😆 Great news you’ll be seeing the balance go below £5k 🥳

  • Pay day for me today and that means my PAD sees CC7 down to £4803! Smashed that £5k mark :)

Today is also my last working day before Christmas and it's going to be busy, so I am up early and ready to take on the challenge, knowing that at 5pm I can shut down the laptop for a lovely few days of rest.

I managed a £7 cash out this morning and I still have £6 pending in prolific so may get that in the next few days or so... I'm not concerned about when to be honest as I know it will land eventually.

Yesterday we had our last team meeting before xmas which included a quiz, I came 3rd and received a £10 amazon voucher. My first thought was "I need to send £10 to CC7" but then realised that this is for me, and not part of my debt journey like the 'free money' is.  So I'm just going to enjoy whatever I decide to spend it on :)

    That's all from me

Thanks, I think I'm going to save it until after Christmas as you never know what Santa may bring ;)

I'm looking forward to really smashing through the remainder of the CC balance now, it feels like the last stretch after such a long journey.
