  • Early morning for me and PAD of £1 sent over to CC7. I had a good few surveys on Prolific yesterday and have another £6-odd pending so I am hoping I can cash that out in the next day or so.

Today should be another NSD for me but I'm popping out to Boots so it may not be, if I have to spend some money on top of my points I don't think it will be much.

I have another birthday celebration this weekend, but it's at the birthday girl's house and aside from her gifts (which I have already bought) it won't cost anything. Sunday will be the day I start getting my packing ready for holiday, I am getting excited but know I still have a lot to do... including some ironing (in this heat!!) because Thursday evening I am off!

It's always a manic week before going on holiday from work, so I had better get a move on.
Hope you're all well and coping with the weather

Hope you are going somewhere nice @LittleMissDetermined?  I appreciate your pain of lots to do before holidays especially with work and hand overs.

I hate ironing and I havent actually done any for quite a while (apart form jeans or odd t shirt), I tend to get them out of the washer quickly so they are not too creased and hang out so they are crease free.  Good luck ironing in the heat!

I am off to Lanzarote with family, hubby is staying here as he has already been away with his friends this year.  I'm all for folding from the washer and the line so that I don't have to iron but there are some things that have been stored away which will need ironing and hubby is not a folder unfortunately so when he deals with the laundry there is always ironing to be done :D

Nice going on getting your CC to under 6,800! I'm still almost tracking you at 6,863 now after a couple of min payment monthly DDs and some prolific cashouts.

It’s a tough life all these birthday celebrations 😆

I’m also on the pre holiday work wind down/handover. I break up next Friday.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Happy Friday folks, I hope you're coping with the weather! It's a later update fro me today as this morning before work I was tackling 'ironing mountain' before it got too hot. Managed to get it all done before 8am so that was a bonus.  More washing on the line though so there'll be some more to do in the morning.

Today's PAD was £11.81, a small DD and £1 to CC7, Prolific has been good over the last 2-3 days and I have £15 pending now.  As always, I will keep an eye on the available balance and will cash out when I am able to and send it to CC7 as an extra payment.

Managed to do a pinecone survey yesterday too, and Y-live sent me one this morning but I screened out of that one unfortunately. I keep snapping the receipts but not close to a cash out on those yet. Although I have decided that when I get the cash outs in vouchers, I will send the equivalent in cash to CC7 as I would be spending that anyway instead of using the voucher.

Hope that makes sense? Feel like I'm rambling now, must be the heat :D

  • Late update today, it’s been absolutely manic and I’ve been rushing around everywhere. I did pop on and make my PAD early doors so that’s another £1 off CC7

Not a NSD. Boots was a restrained shop to be fair, but then I went to H&M for some holiday clothes… (£67 later… 2 dresses and some underwear) :D oh well. I don’t treat myself very often so I’m ok with what I spent.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
