Little happened today, standard working from home, dog walks and meals from cupboards/stores. I do have to finalise the shopping tonight, but hubby is off next week and has offered to do a big shop if I just order what we need for the weekend which is nice. It means I don't have to worry about it too much and there's less to have to sort when it's delivered which is usually my job to sort. When I have paid for the shopping this evening I'll have an uneven bank account balance so on Monday I will be able to round down to the credit card again. I get paid next Friday so it won't be long before statements are generated and I can make payments again.

Super productive morning already, I've a MASSIVE bag of toiletries and unused make up for the women's refuge and I have a contact to be able to get this to them so will drop off next week at some point. I also have a load of stuff to take to the rubbish dump, so will probably drop that off in the morning, it tends to be super quiet before 9am on Sundays for some reason
I hadn't realised how much 'stuff' I was holding onto and in all honesty I either have no use for or will never use because I always reach for an alternative.
I have also sold a small shelving unit on Facebook marketplace, only a £10 sale but it's better than nothing... I have a few more bits to list from my sorting but will probably list those tomorrow when I have more time.
Had an email from CC1 this morning to say the statement has been generated so I need to check on what interest has been added following my huge overpayments last month.
Need to tackle the general cleaning up now (although I've made quite a mess with the sorting hahah)

Can't sleep tonight. There has been some differences in what we had been told was included in the house price and what has been completed on the fitting list we have from the vendor... whilst to may just be an oversight it's clearly weighing on my mind. Have sent an email to the vendor about the to clarify but nothing back as yet.
Hoping it's just an oversight, should know in the next few days.

That's annoying. Hopefully you get an answer soon.1

Heard back from the vendor and they’ve confirmed the items are included (phew!) I’m so relieved and will definitely sleep tonight!LMD xxLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £5678 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3188/£6000 | Travel savings £1924 | Sinking pots £21263

Amazing news!!2

hi everyone,
No real updates from me in terms of debts but it's payday tomorrow. Phone is on the blink so I am not getting texts or calls - this means I can't log into internet banking
I've called my provider and they said it's a sim issue which they have resolved but it can take 24 hours to take effect. We have made arrangements with the vendor of our new house to buy their hallway furniture. We don't currently have a hallway and the front door just opens into the lounge (this is bad in winter) so that's worked out well for us.
Looking at some furniture lead times and some of the items we like are taking up to 22 weeks for delivery! I'm not sure I can wait 6 months for a new bed/sofa/dining table. We will move with the furniture we have but as we are 'up-sizing' (is that a thing?) we do need additional furniture.
Oh well, these things aren't really what I can control so I should only be fretting about the things I CAN control, or so my late grandad used to tell me
Hope you all have a lovely day
LMD xx

We were the same when we moved to this house. We moved from a small 2 bed to a mid sized 3 bed so didn't have enough furniture. We just made do with what we had when we moved and have gradually added things as we have gone along.1

Hopefully you're phone is on the mend and you can get logged back in to your banking soon.
I'd be lost without mine, I log in to check my bank daily.
My furniture I ordered for my living room is not going to arrive until May. It's stuck at the border due to Brexit apparently.
