Refunded twice, several months apart.

Last year I was on the phone over 30 times in an effort to reclaim money lost through an airline due to covid. Finally, in September of last year, I received just over 3k (the correct and full amount) and everything seemed fine. During my time complaining (Before the refund was received) I was told to contact customer services by email as well to speed things up. I did that and had received nothing for several months and thought nothing of it. Fast forward to this January just gone, I receive an email from the airline telling me the money was sent to my Paypal address but there was a problem which is why it took so long and that as of the 3rd of January the money had been refunded and the case was closed. I believed this was just an extremely delayed response from the email I sent. I checked my account a few days after and on the same day I checked it showed I had been refunded the entire amount AGAIN. I rang up straight away and asked how I could send it back because I don't want money in my account that doesn't belong to me. The first person said they could find no problem and that my case number was closed. They then phoned their manager and was told the same thing. They told me to phone up again when the refunds department was in to double-check. So a couple of days later I phone up again and explain the situation and the lady tells me my case is closed and she doesn't know what I should do, but from her end everything is fine. Not happy with the response, I phone a third time straight away to try and give this massive company their money back. I am told once again that my case is closed and everything is as it should be. I tell them that I have received a full refund twice and that I don't like having money that's not mine. She phones the refund team and then tells me that they don't see a problem and that my case is closed and I don't have to do anything. I believe I'm quite a moral person so I explained it to her again was told she would let the refund department know again and I can wait for a response if I wanted.
I have the last operators name and phone logs of the times and length of calls.
I'm at such a loss of what to do. Obviously, the extra money would be helpful but I don't particularly want to spend it. Its sat in a bank account named DO NOT TOUCH . Is there any legalities on either my or the companies side that will help me understand what to do next?
Thanks for the help!

They have six years to reclaim it. Just keep it safe till then.0

As an aside if you would rather not have to wait six years have you considered writing to the company as that may get more of a response?

Get hold of the name of the Chief Exec or Finance Director and write or e-mail direct to them. Contacts at that level often result in a much faster resolution of any problem.
