Afternoon spent in garden, splitting and moving on plants, into smaller pots so I can flog them at the car boots (once they are re open) to cover the pitch money, very MSEWashing in off line, folded and awayOH's tooth fell out at lunchtime! he was eating soup, so now he has spent the afternoon, looking for a dentish that is open and will see him.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Mutter grumble bother grump
so two days of getting up for work and, of course, the body obligingly wakes up at that time despite me remembering to turn the alarm off. Bonus is I stripped my bed last night so I've just popped a second load in so will be able to line dry later. No point running DW as nowhere near full.
Back in bed now... my project will have to wait.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning xx
Woke up. Read Valli's post. Thought 'that's a good idea'. Got up and set WM swishing.
My bed is made and I'm supping my first brew.

Thank you for the lovely support. I hadn't told anyone in RL, so to be able to speak about it on here is a tonic. I have vowed not to lose any sleep over it, I have asked for detailed WRITTEN feedback as to why I was unsuccessful though... that should be an interesting read 😜
Onto today, I have the first load in the machine, the chickens have been let out and I have a cuppa. Plans for today are cleaning out the hen house, getting all of the washing sorted and doing a face mask later on - my skin is desperate for one.
Big hugs to you all and thinking of @Fayolle xx10 -
The sun has just risen from behind the big hill. I have already slurped my early morning cuppa and caught up with the thread/emails/news, so I'm about to get up, get dressed and get to the shops as we're about to run out of F&V. I can't load the WM until DH has sorted his washing.
Hope everyone gets some of this glorious sunshine today. I might do a bit more gardening later (started tidying the front garden yesterday). See you later xx10 -
Morning all
WM swishing here too, I got 2 loads almost dry in the sun yesterday so hoping to do the same today. After work yesterday I did manage to start the house, I definitely want to spend some time outside today so am going to set a target time for getting the house done. I’m thinking 11am to be done and then get out in the garden.
on that note I should stop lolling about drinking tea and get on!Have a good one xx10 -
Morning all
So sorry to have not been around all week, I will try to catch up with you all but hugs all round.
Mad busy week at work, especially after Bojo's announcement. Boiler broke, engineer replaced fan, then once it was running the expansion tank blew a leak so back to working but need to get that changed next week now. Fixed a few other things and a few other things broke. Realised that you need a pile of small broken items to keep the breaking devil away. Don't fix that small pile of stuff, bigger stuff then breaks.
Flying has been extremely minimal, couple of loads of washing (put on the line so that was nice), don't think I've even S&S tbh. I have done a bit of the office decorating touch up.
I'll work on my list a bit this weekend on and off but the sun is shining so today is a gardening day, need to go and buy some compost so I'll do that whilst picking up the new tablet I ordered for my Mum, hers has died. Transferring her to a new one is going to require patience!
I'll list some more stuff to give away this weekend too as I didn't do any this week and buy a few things to pop into the foodbank whilst I'm getting the tablet and some bread in town.
Enjoy the sunshine, get outside and breath and feel the rays on your face, so good for the soul. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair10 -

Thank you so much for all your support and thoughts. Cherish your children, ladies, you never know x
ASB - their loss, my lovely. You were surely a threat to their cosy club. The next opportunity will be the one meant for you x
It’s a sunny one here, not quite decided on the order of the day. It may involve the garden later, it may not. I have to take DD to work first as it’s business as usual for this week, and I have some admin stuff to do to sort out my car repair after the numpty shunted me at the beginning of the month. I’m hoping that all that counts as flying.
Lots of hugs and love. Thank you for being there xx9 -
First WM load is pegged out. Gave the washing line a good wipe as it's the first time I've pegged out for ages. I love pegging out
Sun is shining; birds are singing; and amongst all the normal sized leeks there is a leviathan of a leek growing in the back garden. Snowdrops are nearly done but lots of daffodils in bud in the front garden.
I've fed the birds, refilled the bird bath, put out the rubbish and recycling, second load is swishing and I'm supping my second brew. Ok and I'm dressed

Managed a bit more shut eye.
My project is to reglue some hanging files in the filing cabinet so I am purging too. And I am going to type new card tabs too and am strangely thrilled at how they will look...
all neat, smart and matching.
But I have read comments re gardening and it's about time I joined in. I could easily deal with the couch on the front. And the rabbit hutch needs 🧹 🧽 .
Work was nice yesterday...just 5 boys in. Played games with two of them, Dobble and one with a sleeping granny and some biscuits. The others preferred iPads, thought that was a bit sad but free time for the last hour was their choice.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
