Can you take a baby to vaccine centre

I arrived 20 minutes early for my vaccine as we did not know how long it would take us to get there and find a parking spot- none at the venue and a one way system round the area.
I explained at the door that I was early- and was prepared to wait- but was told it was okay, just go in.
After I found my way through the venue going along a corridor, down an escalator, down a flight of stairs , along another corridor and through a zig zag maze I was immediately greeted and directed to a desk , where my letter and details were checked. I was then directed to a booth and vaccinated.
I then retraced my way through the venue again to the exit.
I emerged 5 minutes before my scheduled time and it took longer to get to the reception and out again than it did to get logged in and vaccinated. As my experience. As my friends' experiences.I'm interested to know if these comments about 'most do not expect to wait more than an hour' are based on real experiences and if so accurately reflect what is happening in vaccine centres currently (not what happened several weeks ago).I would hate to read scare-mongering stories about 'hour long waits' on here.

I took Mrs P - queue was outside the door but moved along very steadily. Even with the Queue the entire process was only 20 minutes.0

Went to a pharmacy
Arrived a bit early. Was taken straight in. No queue. Did not need booking number. Was in and out in less than ten minutes
I am sure some places did have teething troubles. This is a huge task and there will be hiccups but, from all I know, it's going okay now

Mr. M and I both jabbed in different centres in last few days, I arrived on the dot thanks to easy parking, gave name, dob, first line of address, jabbed and out in 12 minutes, Mr. M arrived 20 minutes before allotted time (had to drive 40 miles), went straight in, no queue, jabbed and out in 7 minutes. Both centres had splendid logistics and organisation.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. Looking forward and waiting for the invite for the jabs me and my husband and we hope we have no wait etc and its not packed.
The waiting for 15 minutes once you had the jab for some, EG if you are driving I have been told so I will get him to drive there, lol.0 -
I went to a local Pharmacy, having booked online. Arrived about 15mins early but was told to go straight in. My details were checked and I sat for about 5mins before I was called to have the vaccine. It was a one way system so no need to retrace my steps. I even exited just before the time of my actual appointment in the end.0

I was at the immunisation centre for a round 40 minutes in total - that includes arriving a bit early and waiting for 15 minutes afterwards (Pfizer). I had to queue a bit, was given forms to complete while waiting. Then had to show photo ID, confirm my details and see Dr to give consent before actually being immunised. It's not difficult!
