I can see that you are still not following that list in the newbies FAQ sticky thread that links the numbered list in the defence template sticky thread , which is what you should have read when you grabbed the defence template (you even posted in that thread a few months ago)
LeKirk told you to re read it recently too !!
You download an electronic PDF copy of the n180 , fill it in as per the Bargepole guide
Then you eMail it to the claimant and also email it to the ccbcaq email address where the Defence went
No filling in online , no posting it either , just 2 emails or 1 email with 2 recipients2 -
Sorry and thanks will re-read1

Your first step
Always
Is the newbies thread. It has a completge guide to the ENTIRE COURT PROCESS in it.
Every question you can likely think of is already answered, and it means you are being kind with our time.3 -
Hi guys Ive just completed the N180 however the top section requires me to cross through the who is section to clearly show I am the defendant however I just cant see how I cross through the [1st], [2nd], [3rd], [Claimant], [Part 20 Claimant] its the same with the signature at the bottom section any ideas or does this not matter I couldnt see a reference to it on this link - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/71763411#Comment_71763411 @Redx @SayNoToPCN0

That link explains how to fill in the paper DQ and was posted years ago
We would hope that you have downloaded the n180 and are filling it in by editing the pdf on a laptop or PC or an online pdf editor website
The coupon mad defence template post is what you should be reading
Sign a white piece of paper using black ink , take a picture and merge it into the pdf editor
Once completed , you email the pdf file to the ccbcaq email address , same as the defence
No paperwork , no letters , electronic means only , for everything2 -
@Redx Yes I am following that advice however there is no details around how to cross out all parties except for Defendant and there is no option in the PDF on the gov's website form to amend. I have tried sending the downloaded form to myself once populated with all other fields so that I can put a strike through manually and add my signature, however it seems to be blanking out the form each time I open in a pdf editor tool so not sure why or how I can get around this?0

It really doesn't matter. You are obviously the Defendant if you put that at the end, where you sign.
Or just wait for the court to send you a paper one.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thanks I'll just submit without the crossing out bits and upload my signature through a editor tool1

Hi everyone I received a N159 form from the courts suggesting mediation and asking the following:
"The court needs to be able to contact you by telephone. Please immediately email the court xxxxxemail addressxx" with your telephone number where you can be reaached for any telephone hearing"
Couple of questions do I need to complete the N159 there are 3 boxes A - I agree that the claim should be dealt with on the papers alone or B - I do not agree that the claim should be dealt with on the papers alone and C - I have sent a copy of this completed form to the other party
I received BW legals copy of the N159 today and they have ticket boxes A and C
Obviously I know I need to email the courts with my mobile number but from reading this from the courts it appears I have to respond back to them. I assume they are trying to encourage we work it out between us!
I have searched through the forum and from what I can see I need to tick boxes B and C and send a copy to the court and to BW Legal by email can I just get a check thats the correct next steps?
Thanks @KeithP @Coupon-mad0 -
Did you not find the answers to your questions in the 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT YOU MUST DO AND BY WHEN!' section of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
