£10.19 in A1d1, hopefully nothing until next planned shop Thursday, and that`s April.
Do I need it or just want it.

the supermarkets must be mad at me as I keep compiling orders then going, "no, don't really need it" and cancelling. Oh well.

I have placed a non-cancellable order for ridiculously expensive vegan low carb donuts for easter weekend, when everyone else will have eggs. I seem to be back on track, so have decided not to feel guilty. They are so much tastier than anything I make myself!

the kentycommunity larder box was a success, brilliant variety of goods too. this is £7 a week, so still in budget!!
@t14cy_t mind me asking what was in the box? I’m food-Nosey Parker.
not at all!! everything was in date. i infact paid just £3.50. there were 10 non perishables in which was a posh garlic mayo, 2 bags of carrots, waitrose eggs, hovis loaf. i worked it out it would of cost approx £25!! when restrictions are lifted will be able to select items myself. even better!!
That is an absolutely amazing deal! I’m so jealous. I swear, you all do so well with local deals on this board. Hopefully I’ll find my secret bargain shopping places around here soon enough too.
  • @thriftwizard don’t worry, I’ve completely blown the budget too. The best we can do is try again and reevaluate. The best and most important thing is that we’re all fed nicely and aren’t suffering.

@thriftwizard I would be putting the fish and chips against the entertainment budget instead of housekeeping!

I have a separate "eating out" budget so mine would go there, certainly not the Groceries.  Eating out hasn't really been topped up much since last summer with not being able to eat out and we don't have takeaways very often, usually just for birthdays at the moment.
