Yes we filled out a chargeback form so just waiting to hear back.
Only danger with a non receipt chargeback is all EJ need to contest is proof of delivery. That does not have to be to your address. Just proof it was delivered. Which you have already seen.
So do not be surprised if it does get rejected.
Surely there's no right to a chargeback now is EJ are sending another ring.

They will just reject it if they do.

    Must have missed that bit.

  • I gave the address myself this time so no chance of it being wrong ha!

I know, just admit the correct delivery procedures where not followed instead of the old ‘out of the goodness of our hearts we will replace it!’

No we will cancel the charge back as obviously that is not needed now

Businesses will be advised by their legal advisors to not admit liability as a matter of course.  On the face of it, this case is resolved, but what if something came up which you decided to pursue them for?  It's a lot harder to defend a case when you've admitted you were at fault. Better to not, there's nothing to be gained from it.

Once it's arrived and you are sure it's perfect and fits perfectly, I would leave an honest review on as many sites as possible.
Positive if you like the ring, very negative of their customer service.
