O2 wishing to buy me out of my contract

I bought my current mobile from carphone warehouse in November 2019, a two year contract paying £38 a month and I paid approx £155 to upgrade at that time. Recently I’ve had emails from o2 telling me that they will buy me out of my contract which is due to expire in November 2021 and I’ve now had two phone calls telling me…

Just to say my wife and I have both had our contracts bought out by o2. We’ve both got new handsets, I’ve stuck with the iPhone XR and my wife has upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro. I’m paying £4 a month less for my new contract whilst my wife is paying the same as she was for her iPhone 11. We are now selling both of our current handsets for a combined £450.
