Fixed Income ISA Bond

I have been offered a fixed Income ISA bond by Vanguard. It purports to offer a guaranteed 1.75% return for a 1 year bond (rising to 3.5% for 5 years) protected by the £85K FSCS scheme. This looks too good to be true as the MSE website shows best deals around a third of that rate for cash ISA's.
What am I missing?
Any advice would be very much appreciated

It's a clone scam you are not talking to the real Vanguard as they don't offer cash savings products.

I have been offered a fixed Income ISA bond by Vanguard.No you haven't as Vanguard offer no such product in the UK. Vanguard only offer risk based investment funds in the UK.
You are looking at a clone scam. Not the genuine Vanguard. It is someone trying to get hold of your money by pretending to be Vanguard.
