    Where have you seen this?

Vanguard (https://www.vanguardinvestor.co.uk/) are one of the largest investmnet companies in the world and have billions invested in their products, but as fas as I am aware they do not offer a "savings account" type product that pays a set interest rate per year.

Vanguard do not offer deposits.  They only offer risk based funds.

Can you link to where you get this information from?  I am wondering if its a clone scam (not the genuine Vanguard but a scammer pretending to be - loads of scam sites doing this at the moment) or whether you are just misreading something.

I suspect you might have been talking to a fake scammer cloning the good reputation of Vanguard.
  • Hi,
it's taken the OP over four years for his second post, so maybe just working on some old info.
  • I have been advised by the head of compliance at Vanguard that this is indeed a scam . Thanks all.
