Where do you hide all your Christmas presents?

I always used to store wrapped and unwrapped pressies in my wardrobe and in the cupboard under the stairs.
This year though we are in a new house and there is no wardrobe or cupboard under the stairs (No stairs lol) so I am just hiding them in the corner of my room with a load of clothes on top.
As far as presents under the tree. When my children were little they would put presents their friends had given them under the tree but that was it as all other presents were sent to Santa. These days though they are teenagers so we put all the presents that we have bought for other people under the tree until we deliver them. As well as any presents we receive from anyone else (Not including family)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thankfully there is only DH and I at home, so it's only his I have to hide! The problem is that if I buy anything and then bring it home, he's in my bags, asking what I've bought!! So I've had to be very careful in getting the presents in and upstairs and put away under the bed! I've only had 2 small presents this year, with one more small present to get, so I think I might make it!
As for other presents, they go in large box in our spare room and if we have visitors, the door is shut!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

I grew up in a shop, and recently, my parents divulged to me their hiding place for our pressies - they used to wrap them and store them in empty crisp boxes on the high shelves actually in the shop . No wonder we never found them .0

See, we're all sat here thinking our squidlets have never found our secret stashes but also saying we all found ours when we were lil uns - you think ours have us fooled? LOL
Anyway, mine are out in the garage in an old filing cabinet, you can barely get in the garage so DS would have to be an ace detective to have half a chance of finding anythingComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Santa pressies are in suitcases in my wardrobe - normally they'd be in the loft but as we've only just moved I can get away with having suitcases hanging around - waiting to be sorted - if they ask - which they haven't so far.
All pressies to relatives go under the tree when it goes up, pressies from us to the kids will go under too but at the back when they're at school so they shouldn't notice them and start poking.
Christmas eve I take the girls out for a walk whilst DH loads everything into the boot as it's easier to smuggle in than down from the loft.

good grief you people are organised.
The few pressies that I have managed to buy in advance are still in the boxes they were delivered in.
The rest are still very well hidden in the shops.
Must go shopping.... :eek:0 -
Our garage is such a tip that the littlies don't notice an extra couple of boxes in the garage and the Early Learning Centre are quite good and don't have their name printed on the outside of the boxes. The rest are in the blanket box in my bedroom. As the box is always there no-one bothers to look inside it - well, they'd have to move half of dh's wardrobe that he's dumped on top of it first!
gosh, our house sounds appallingly untidy now!

Usually I can fit most into our wardrobes, or if not in one or two boxes in my bedroom and the boys never ask about the boxes.
This year I had to smile at my 10 year old though. I ordered a robot for him that came in a huge box (around 3ft square) and have nowhere to put it but in the living room where everyone can see it (still in the box though). He said to me a few days later 'if you got that robot for me where would you hide it?' and I replied that I couldn't get it as it is too big to hide. He still hasn't twigged.
I also remember when they were much younger - I had a black sack full of pressies in the kitchen and they never even asked about it.0 -
When my girls were little i'd hide presents (unwrapped) in the top of the wardrobe and in suitcases , but i'd usually manage to miss one or two things and find them months later
My girls (now grown up) have told me that they used to look for their presents and I did the same when I was littleSame old same old since 20080
