Where do you hide all your Christmas presents?

It's okay, I'm not planning to hunt you down and come and steal them all! I was just wondering where you manage to stash everything away.
I like to try and be as organised as I can, and I shop all year for little bits and pieces/special offers etc to squirrel away for Christmas but this year in particular I'm having trouble managing to keep them away from prying eyes
I don't a have much "secret" storage space in my house - in the past I've put some things up in the loft, and locked larger things away in the caravan (which doesn't get used over the winter months), but when I checked everything there yesterday things seemed ever-so-slightly damp - must be all the rain we've had this year!
So where do *you* hide your stash of gifts? In the wardrobes? Under the bed? In the spare room?
Also : when do you start putting gifts under the tree? Do you wait until everyone's asleep on Christmas Eve, or just keep adding things as and when you wrap them?
Tell me all about your present hiding and giving rituals! I'm interested to know

Hi CJ
I always wrap presents as soon as I buy them. Obviously put the name on the tag. I then put them into a large suitcase and lock the suitcase.0 -
I also hide them in the suitcase in the wadrobe. No one has ever found them yet (yes, OH, that means you!)
Our tradition has always been that we don't have presents from us to each other under the tree, they come out on xmas eve. Under the tree we put presents to other people, and theirs to us when we get them.Nobody I'd rather be0 -
i wrap them up and put them in the loft with just a number on it.
i keep a list in my diary on who the presents belongs to. onky put the tags on at the last couple of days0 -
My mum and dad hid our pressents at my Grandma's. I only ever went looking once (honestly:D ) when I was about 11 and couldnt find a single one so I knew thats were they had to be!!!! Asked my mum a few months ago and she said yeah, but we wouldnt dare go routing at Grans:p . I have had my Christmas pressie early this year my mum and dad bought me my first car and first years insurance so not getting a pressie for the rest of my days!
We put the pressents from me my bro and sis under the tree xmas eve but mum and dads are xmas morning0 -
i usually keep all mine in the wardrobe, but this year i just left them all in a big box in the corner of the room with a sleeping bag folded ontop of itMan who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research0 -
I have a huge wicker laundry basket with a lid in my bedroom...the children have always thought that was where mum and dad put their laundry
The washing basket is the last place they are going to look lol.
Other peoples I just wrap and leave in boxes in my sons room.0 -
Our bedroom is in an extension with it's own loft which is seperate to the main loft in the house.
I keep everything hidden up there. It doesn't have a loft ladder so the only way up is by getting the ladders out the garage, which the children can't manage to do!
Everything stays hidden, then we get everything down while the children are asleep on Christmas Eve. Then me and hubby snuggle up on the sofa with a festive tipple and sit grinning and saying things like "oh I can't wait to see his face when he sees the......"Here I go again on my own....0 -
