Not exactly getting richer, just not getting poorer; the budget they set aside for the competition is not being used up, so they can run it for longer or increase the prizes. More for me when I win!!

I think that's just been disproved by Monday's prize amount!   More like more profit for the radio station!

They could still potentially run it for longer, as Mondays amount is lower, but also, they seem to increase it as the week goes on, so probably increasing all the daily amounts rather than just 1 of them …
& yes, of course the radio station makes money from it - they’re a business, not a charity. Highly unlikely that the advertising revenues bring in the kinds of profits that would be needed to have given away all the money that they have to date, over all the competitions they’ve run …
