I get some where I don't press 1 in time so it times out and assumes I've pressed 2, i.e. a wasted call….

yes, I heard this on the radio on Friday.

Worst of all, they claimed that they never have any luck! You couldn’t make it up.

If anything, proves how pointless it is entering these competitions. Probably only worth doing 1 free entry per week.

Anyone’s chance of winning is extremely small — almost, but not quite, zero.

However, someone who enters this week’s competition 250 times still has 250 times the chance of winning compared with someone who enters only once.

it’s worth it I guess if you spread out the phone entries whilst you’re doing other stuff. For instance when I’ve done them I’ve done a load whilst working at my desk

They are included in my mobile minutes so not bad and just re dialling and pressing 1 several times. But yes imagine a minuscule chance at winning, similar to the lottery really
