Friendly reminder, today's the day, guys. Comp finishes at 3 pm, so I assume phone call will be soon after that, but I don't think they specify the time, so could be the usual, 5 pm ish.

I am sure I am being very dim - but Blu says you don’t need to answer within 5 rings - and MJM3346 says you need to answer within 30 seconds.  Can anyone clarify that for a dunce head?  Thanks

"If an Entrant fails to answer their phone within 30 seconds, refuses to play, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during the call and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the Entrant, they will forfeit their chance to win and another Entrant will be selected at random. The decision of the Production team is final and no correspondence will be entered into. "

It is a bit contradictory. My guess is that the 30 seconds rule probably applies as a general rule for these type of competitions. Otherwise, they don't know when to hang up the phone, because they could be in trouble if they hung up randomly and someone said, "I was just about to answer, when you hung up." Whereas, these comps are part of the Make Me A Winner group, where you have to answer within 5 rings and say the winning phrase. So when they specify that you don't have to comply, it's so that we know the MMAW rules don't apply. Is that as clear as mud 😁 it's just my guess anyway.
