I'm finding the same, none of my calls have got through since 13.30.MJB992 said:15 minutes and I've not been able to get a single entry in. I'm assuming the lines are overloaded, perhaps for lunch break. Just dials then ends. Far from reaching 80 entries, too. Thanks to all those who post.
Good luck everyone3 -
They prefer to reward the entrants who can afford paid entries and to make these same entrants richer by winning. For the millions who struggle financially and need to enter for free, they'll make them jump through unnecessary loopholes. This the way it's been for centuries between the rich and poor.flowercandle said:hate it when its loads of entries, i might have been tempted to do a paid entry but if i cant get through while doing the free ones why would it be any easier with a paid entry? wish they would cap them to 20, 80 is well annoying when you cant get though after just doing a few
But the idolisation comment is obviously speculation on my part. Who knows what happens behind the scenes where the entries are collected, stored and selected.

Nonsense. Myself and plenty of forumites have won over the years and only ever by free online entries[Deleted User] said:

Is it capped at 60 now? Line only busy now!1

I don't think so - that wouldn't make it fair. It seems the lines are having trouble, which honestly isn't suprising. Often happens on a Friday with a high number of entries for a large prize - just wish they would do something about it.faerieflowers said:Is it capped at 60 now? Line only busy now!

When you enter online you get 50 entries for one £20 entry fee instead of having to call 50 timesflowercandle said:hate it when its loads of entries, i might have been tempted to do a paid entry but if i cant get through while doing the free ones why would it be any easier with a paid entry? wish they would cap them to 20, 80 is well annoying when you cant get though after just doing a few1 -
Makes zero difference to them if the winner uses a free or a paid entry. All they need is enough paid entries to keep giving them a (very) handsome profit.[Deleted User] said:
