I have read through the terms and conditions and failing to be excited enough does not bar you from winning.

Perhaps he was very nervous, perhaps he was shocked, perhaps he was trying not to let out any rude words, perhaps he was taking the call illicitly at work and didn't want to let on, there might be any number of reasons why he didn't show your required level of excitement. Nevertheless, he won fair and square so good luck to him.
Exactly where did I say he didn't deserve to win?

Perhaps he had been entering the last couple of MMAW competitions and realised that each entry had effectively won less than £50 per entry.

Mind you, with the cost of a call being zero, and I find I can make about 3 calls per minute, that would work out at £150 per minute which is almost the salary a football player might make!
