I can understand someone who entered perhaps several days ago and has since forgotten they are still in the draw. But taking the trouble to enter 8 minutes to 3, getting the call and still not saying the winning phrase....

Why would you do that?

Some people are so competitive that they have to win at losing?? Can’t think of a good reason other than that!!

I know this view divides opinion but the amount of times it's been stated that the winning call entry was made very close to the deadline and now the most recent one considering its been a rollover since last Monday does seem quite odd..

We've had a winner on here stating their winning entry was around 6 in the morning so go figure... 

It will be random. 

I do wonder how many people think the phone call is live, are listening to the radio, a song is being played so think it can't be the call?

Because each & every entry will be given a unique identifier & the random choice is from those unique identifiers, so the time the call is made becomes irrelevant. The very first entrant to the comp. & the very last have the same chance of being chosen …

I know on the other radio competitions if they haven't had a winner in a little while they do a "guaranteed winner" but do they ever do that on Make Me A Winner? This losing streak is wild.

it finishes Friday so think that will be the case then.

The only time I've known it is on the last day of a competition.
