answered after 4 rings and went to O2 answer phone, no winner today
£95,000 tomorrow, you will have loads of entries if you enter all of themI do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus18 -
I'm sure psychologists have a posh term for it, but I would call it conditioning. It seems the vast majority of people these days answer their mobile phone with "hello", whether they know who is calling or not, so it becomes ingrained behaviour. I know all of us on here think we would answer with the correct phrase, but I imagine if we got the call some of us would forget and say "hello".SpanishBlue said:JamboDP said:answered after two rings and said hello, no winner today.
£94,000 tomorrow not won since last Monday all entries rolled over.
Just said the lady entered only 8 mins before the lines closed and then said hello.I can understand someone who entered perhaps several days ago and has since forgotten they are still in the draw. But taking the trouble to enter 8 minutes to 3, getting the call and still not saying the winning phrase....Why would you do that?

I heard on the radio today that she was waiting for a call at that time and unfortunately she didn't anticipate actually getting a call from the competition.IainHL said:

I would be mortified if I didn’t say the phrase.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £18,886.270

It’s a cruel competition format to be fair. You can't always get what you want... but if you try sometimes, well, you just might find.. you get what you need.1

The radio stations do a pretty good job of convincing people that the call is made whenever they make the call on the radio. But of course, those of us that have been entering for yonks and all us wonderful peeps on here know that it’s pre-recorded and it’s made a lot earlier.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £18,886.272
