The limit for each entry option is different.

Texts cost £2 - limit of 12, including free bonuses (I know that in the past they've responded to first entry saying if you enter a second time you'll have a total of 3 entries)

Online entries cost £2 - limit of 30 (but can be purchased as bundles that work out at less than £2/each)

Phonecalls probably free for most - limit of 42

All limits can change when they run a promotion

The entries roll over but you can still enter to the limit for the new draw/s

Where there has not been a winner, there will be a rollover and we reserve the right to announce a new Prize and Winning Phrase for the next Entry Period and Draw. The Prize will not be lower than the Prize for the previous Draw. All entries from the completed Draw, and any previous Draws, where no winner was declared, will automatically be eligible for the next Draw. Entrants do not need to enter again in order to be eligible but are able to do so if they would like to increase their chances.

I can only guess but I would have thought less than 1% of listenship enter.
I would guess the number of people who enter 42 times would be less than 100k

Just my view, and I'm expecting to win it soon

But that doesn't actually say that you get extra entries - I read it as you could add to entries you already had, but up to the maximimum stated elsewhere.   I normally only enter about 5 times, so I'd still have 'space' for additional entries without exceeding the 42.   Where I've done a couple of days of more entries and we have a lengthy period of rollovers (like now), I've always totalled up all my entries over all the days to stay within the 42.....

You get 42 phone call entries per day, including during rollovers. The maximum usually only changes if there's a promotion on SMS's etc, and tends to be on a Friday.

The phoneline will tell you when you've reached your maximum entries for that entry period, so you'll never be able to "go over" the cap (including if the maximum has changed from 42, to say, 55, like it did the other week)

The only potential issue is if you're paying for your phoneline entries, and you do not wish to purchase more than a certain amount - that is a limit you must set yourself and be aware of.

Probably deemed commercially sensitive information - ballpark they get enough paid entries to make a profit after all deductions - it was several years ago that ITV accounts showed they got over 40,000,000 paid entries a year

Just glanced at a radio website and saw you can get 30 entries for £10 (best value by some way) - they would need a good number of entries at that rate to make a nice profit. Apparently ITV competition entries dropped off a little last year- but they had risen a good way during lockdowns as more people were at home to catch the daytime telly, they worded it a bit posher than that.

In case your call goes to voicemail, you could always change your greeting to “Make me a winner”. 😂

They've covered that in the Ts and Cs - that would disqualify you:

If there are no words spoken (according to the studio’s audio recording) or the call goes to voicemail, even if the pre-recorded voicemail messages starts with the Winning Phrase, this will be judged as a failure to answer and no prize will be awarded.
