I only ever enter by phone, but as I do it whilst walking to work at a brisk pace (and alongside a main road which can make it hard to hear the recorded messages) I rarely do more than 5 or 6.   On the final few days of a competition I may reach double that, but I find I'm getting stressed trying to hear the taped voice by the end.

You are probably already aware, but you can enter from 3:10pm until 3pm the next day - so you could take 30mins calling them at midnight or 1am when it might be quieter for you, if you wanted.

You can also skip the first two automated lines by pressing any number once the voice begins, which cuts the listening time down, and therefore your overall entry time. The only time I find this doesn't always work so well, is around mid-day, when I assume there are perhaps a lot of people entering and the lines are struggling.

Yes, I was aware of the times.   But when I finally stagger in from work it's as much as I can do to make something to eat.  Walking to work is the best time for me to do this.

But I wasn't aware of the ability to skip the start of the messages - many thanks for the heads-up on that one

There's been an issue with Sky mobile (again!) today, not being able to receive/ make calls so I do hope the call wasn't made to a Sky mobile customer!

I had a call at 15:14pm today from 0161 524 5976 I answered after two rings and stupidly didn't say anything, I thought the calls were live by the time I went two say "Make me a winner" they hung up after 2 seconds. Do you think this could have been them calling me? I feel sick to my stomach.

Done a Google.  Results suggest that number is linked to a Scam.

"They don't display the number they are calling from so it wouldn't have been from them."

On the terms & conditions it reads "However it is possible that the call will be from a withheld number" which to me also sounds like it might not be. I have got myself into such a state as it just seems like such a coincidence as it was exactly what happened on the radio. 

I have found the number on the " whocalled" website, I am just not sure how accurate these websites are. 

I am really praying it was just a scam, and it wasn't them.

Regardless of anything else the number you have posted has been identified numerous times on various sites as belonging to a spammer
