Come on we all know he got a six grand refund.k3lvc said:
As is coming onto a forum, throwing around legal-ese and claiming to have won without any justification. Everyone else knows that without asking the direct question you had no right to have been told proactively by the dealer what your vehicle was previously used for and your suggestion that 18m down the line you magically got a massive refund from them is frankly laughablehogspudding said:So this is a Consumer Rights Forum with the intent to help people with consumer issues ? It seems there's only a few of you who actually understand Consumer Rights.
To those who like to abuse and take the p, don't you have real lives ? Living your life abusing others on forum is really really sad.....
Unless there's something else you're not telling us as you drip information out1 -
You may have received a more co-operative level of support had you engaged in a more positive way with the queries that were asked.hogspudding said:So this is a Consumer Rights Forum with the intent to help people with consumer issues ? Anyway, you have said previously that you got a good outcome with which you are satisfied. I am pleased for you and hope that you will remain an active and valuable member of this forum going forwards as you can share the learnings you have from this success to help others. Your advice will be very valuable as you found success where experienced members of the forum could not pin-point the route.1 -
Almost another week later and you're still angry? If this is how you feel after your sizeable refund, there is an underlying problem you should address.hogspudding said:So this is a Consumer Rights Forum with the intent to help people with consumer issues ? Are you going to share how exactly you went about getting your refund so it may help others in the future ? or will this just be another question you wont answerhogspudding said:So this is a Consumer Rights Forum with the intent to help people with consumer issues ? If you shout it loud enough does it become true ? Sure, if you ask them they need to be honest but 'being used as a taxi' doesn't fall under the list of things that need to be included in ads or declared up front to you.hogspudding said:
You are absolutely wrong, completely and utter wrong. It is a retailers responsibility to disclose material aspects which might effect a consumers form making a buying decision, why do you find this so hard to understand ???? I know why, its because you don't actually know hat you are talking aboutk3lvc said:

Just out of curiosity, can people still register their cars as mini cabs to avoid congestion charge with no intention to ever actually pick up punters? I remember reading someone did a foi request as to how many Lamborghinis were registered as mini cabs, iirc there was a few.0
