shell broadband questions regarding the provider router dwa0120 or TG588v2

Surprised they sent out the single band TG588v2 for FTTC, which is a rubbish router and barely capable of handling basic ADSL. Also you're going to struggle getting a stable WiFi speed on the 2.5Ghz band especially as you get towards the higher end of your package.

I would ask them for a router suitable for the product you've purchased.

The DDNS thing there are other solutions, some cameras you can add the DDNS details to their control panel so the router can be changed until the cows come home and it won't affect anything.  Or there are software solutions you can install that will update the IP address every time the machine is switched on.

Second that about TG588v2 being rubbish
