My understanding now is that originally ordered posts and panels in Dove Grey and accepted what they sent as being acceptable which is going to make rejecting impossible as it is a change of mind and not a fault
The posts were Dove grey and the original panels were either "no pigment " or cream.
I take it you are 100% sure you did not order cream panels
You have now ordered more Dove Gray panels that you have cut and so no supplier in their right minds is going to accept them back and probably cannot even supply panels in the colour that will match your original ones.
I think you will end up either painting the panels to match or replacing the original ones with Dove grey ones
We actually have some of these panels in our garden and Both Dove Grey and cream
My partner took one look at the photos and told me the white panels are cream and not gray
My partner has bought plenty from Screen with Envy since they started and has always been satisfied
We have no connection with them except as customers
If the original panels were not the correct colour OP is entitled to a remedy as the goods did not conform to contract. The concept of "acceptance" is not a part of the CRA. The retailer can replace, repair or refund (with a reduction to account for usage after 6 months), they can't refuse to offer a remedy if it is later brought to light that the goods did not conform simply because the consumer didn't notice earlier.
If the second lot of panels were not the correct colour I don't see what difference cutting them makes (unless there is a part of the CRA I'm missing). In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

After some advice please. We bought last July four composite panels from Screen with Envy in Dove grey. We then realised we wanted two more and ordered these in September. Due to COVID these have only been installed this week. As you can see from the picture they are two different colours!! Screen with Envy say in their t&C's that there may be a variant with different batches. Been on with them tonight and they have advised tough...you should have checked them within 14 days. We just want them replacing and not asking for a refund! Do we have any rights? As I feel they don't match the product we initially bought but they keep repeating the T&C's on their website.

CL09 said:Screen with Envy have actually confirmed that both are Dove Grey just a variant! We were happy with the original as we had nothing to compare they with and assumed they were Dove Grey as stated on the order and packaging. It's only when the second batch has arrived we can see such a big difference and they just keep pointing us to the T&C's saying there can be a variance in colours. We have asked about purchasing at a reduced cost some of the lighter dove grey panels, but they have told us they can't guarantee providing any panels close to either shades?? At this point I think we are stuck with having to paint them, which will fix how they look but takes away the reason for purchasing them.

Just to let you know that Screen With Envy changed the colour of their Dove Grey composition. I have a sample box containing the old version which is a very pale grey and i also received the newer sample box which has a completely different colour, a much darker grey for Dove Grey sample. I'm not sure when exactly the colour changed but . . .in my opinion the colour name should have been updated to something different to reflect that.
This may be of use to you. I can't tell from the photo whether you originally received the wrong product colour i.e. not Dove Grey, or if you actually received the older colour version of Dove Grey.0 -

Just had 2 houses built opposite. Both grey. When is this international obsession with grey, both interior and exterior, going to wane?0
