So even though we have proof she has paid they wouldn’t match her VRM to the proof of payment when she made the appeal with the evidence which gives the amount paid and time. How do we get that payment matched up?
Follow the advice already given by Coupon-mad in her post on the 6th February at 8.19pm

    thats the difficult part

if they received payment on the day, they may have a payment but the sign probably states the correct VRM must be entered into the PDT machine , if not then unfortunately she has failed to comply with the parking contract rules and the payment was never logged against her vehicle, by using the VRM on the number plate as a cross check with the ANPR cameras

the PCN is probably stating there is no record of a payment against her VRM, which should have been done at the PDT machine

ergo, she allegedly broke the contract she entered into, a breach of contract by her for not complying with the small print, so a default of the parking contract she entered into at the point of sale

you are trying to get it retrospectively matched up, so you need proof from the payment machine , the receipt it dispensed at the time, that was her proof of payment , like an Argos receipt when buying a watch, its the proof of purchase. but an argos receipt wont dispense without the catalogue number of the watch being confirmed before payment, which is the cross check that the money paid is for the item paid for

complicated yes, but its a complicated contract law scenario she inadvertently entered into

coupon mad offered to help if you provide her with all the details she asked for, she cannot do so without those details, so we suggest you do not argue and give her the tools to try and get the job done via the back door !

I presume that Solutions Lab is the PPC ? unless its the back office contractor ?

which actual Parking Company issued the claim ? Regent Parking  ???

Perhaps people should be reminded that "newbie" is not a word which we were taught at school.
But is a word that has been around for several decades, and has been in the heading of a sticky thread that has been on the first page of this forum since 2013.

coronavirus was not a word I was taught at school , or email, or laptop , or mobile phone , or internet , or many other words now used in Scrabble etc, I fail to see why words not taught at school is relevant to any parking case , or any other case either

we wont be able to assist in this case if we can only use words from the sixties !!

My mother in law was in the car. She paid for a full 4 hours on her debit card but returned after 2 hours.
The car park was Paradise Mill Car Park, John Street, BL9 0HN
Says no valid car park ticket found.  They have a picture of her going in and out of the car park saying she was there 1.57 hours but not of her car in the space. We have a bank statement showing she paid for up to 4 hours.
We appealed in writing originally with a copy of her bank statement.  The appeal was declined. It says you will need your PCN number and vehicle reg in order to appeal to IAS on the website we were given. IAS reject this number and said to contact the PCNparking solutions.  They did not response to email which was sent to ask for a correct number to appeal.  We only tried to call the phone number to see if we could ask for the correct PCN number.  I even tried to see what would happen if I tried to pay to see if I could get through to someone and it would except the number.  There is no other code mentioned anywhere.

Wow. Sad to read several people paid because they are scared of debt letters.  Google it and come here, people!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The PPC model..... send a PCN (made up or not), bully and threaten people and it is like a licence to print money. Shameful
