Who is the PPC and do you have there email.
No idea what you mean or why you think I'd know who the PPC involved is.

PPC is an acronym to save us typing 'private parking company'.

I told you how to handle this and if they refuse, I can refer it to the IPC but don't expect blood out of a stone...

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Who is the PPC and do you have there email.  I’ve checked she said she put the reg in herself. The reg on the parking ticket is correct so maybe she did mistype the reg. she has no proof either way.  If you can help me refer this to the IPC as we have written and emailed but with no response.  I don’t want the bailiff knocking on her door. Thanks
I blame daytime TV for the myth that bailiffs will come a-knocking.

For that to happen, you would have to lose a court case, get a judgment awarded against you, fail to pay the judgment within court mandated timescales, get a high court order against you, and fail to pay that.

You are nowhere near the beginning of a court case. let alone the end, and all of the above is within your control.

If this is true for what are they chasing her.  You cannot input the wrong VRM and have the correct one printed on the ticket - if you mean the one that came out of the PDT or did you mean the VRM was correct on the PCN?

I think they meant the PCN has the right reg number, and are using "ticket" instead of PCN or NTK

I am sure you are right @nosferatu1001 but wanted to check.
  • It’s hard to clear when everyone is talking in acronyms it’s like having a conversation with a teenager.  I wasn’t asking who the Private parking company was I was as asking what PPC meant and surely by appealing and clearly explaining she paid with proof of payment to them at the time that should be enough.  The reg on the letter and photo of her coming and going is her.  There is no proof if she put in the correct reg number or not in the payment machine.  I’ve been told to contact PPC but I have done so other than writing the appeal, sending an email and trying to get through on the phone how do I contact them. Can someone please help me as I really am stuck what to do.

Acronyms like PPC are in the fifth post of the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum
It is very likely that she was supposed to put the correct and full VRM of the vehicle into the PDT payment machine , it's very very common to mistype it , put the wrong one in , or fail to do so at all , so the payment is then not listed against her vehicle , hence causing the PCN

The PCN is generated by anpr camera technology , which is why the PCN has those details on it

By ticket we mean paper ticket generated and printed by the PDT payment machine , not the PCN , this ticket is her proof of payment , like when using one in a shop to purchase bread and milk

In order to assist you we are trying to get to the bottom of what caused this , because cause and effect are linked , not knowing the cause is not helping to find a solution

They are probably saying that there is no record of any payment against the VRM their cameras captured at the entrance/exit

So in theory her payment is not listed against any number plate at all

Never, ever 'phone a parking scammer.

As for acronyms, either print off or write out those listed in the fifth post of the NEWBIES.

  • So even though we have proof she has paid they wouldn’t match her VRM to the proof of payment when she made the appeal with the evidence which gives the amount paid and time. How do we get that payment matched up?

Perhaps people should be reminded that "newbie" is not a word which we were taught at school.
