I wonder if there is a wayleave problem ?  How does the fibre get to the other houses - is there a trench in the road / footpath or from a pole ?  From that statement looks like you are currently stuck with ADSL, FTTC & FTTP not being available but the other properties can get FTTP.  What does it show here https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

You need to have realistic expectations, Openreach have millions of houses to cable up. A little bit of infill for a small number of houses may be prohibitively expensive or not a priority when there are more attractive ways to deploy the available resources.
So you would not be aggrieved if everyone in your neighbourhood had access to a service, but not you? Hardly unrealistic I think.
Would I be aggrieved? Not sure, maybe slightly peeved, but not aggrieved. Personal feeling are irrelevant when it comes to broadband availability so its a pointless question. As to what's realistic, I highlighted some of the realities that may be relevant to your situation, ignore them if you wish, makes no difference to me.

Your phone number won’t work if it’s a Sky line, you can use your  address  on the BT wholesale checker but it’s not quite as accurate
