The Wayback Time Machine (WTM) shows Terry Szmidt T/A Capital Car Park Control being a BPA AOS member back in 2016 (that's as far back as WTM had a record), so he had, as a sole trader, legitimate access to the DVLA database then and until whenever the T/A company ceased to exist when they should at that stage lose that access until the new Ltd company was formed and joined the BPA.

I put a link to the relevant WTM page showing this on one of the CCPC threads, can't remember which, but as they're all becoming totally confused by so many questions and responses to posters joining in from other CCPC threads, it's all starting to look a mess.
Right, so he has always been a member one way or another, perhaps the BPA has just mixed it up themselves.

The BPA are not in a position to mix this up ... they are an ATA
  • a trading as person does not have company number , the requirements for kodoe are that they are members of aos (state number) and that thay are ICO registered (state number)

I noted that the Ltd company was active (in that they brought an old case in there name)  so checked to see if there were multiple companies on BPA list , using words like terry towel , T/A capitol and capitol ltd . i noted that the T/A was no longer there and the blank space in alphabetical listing was showing one entry ,

perhaps my question to the bpa was to hard
when did Terry SZMIDT T/A capitol car park patrol cease to be a member of the BPA AOS , and secondly

when did Capitol car park patrol LIMITED become a member

    thank you

    OP - no, again
POFA places zero requirements on signage. It makes no requirements at all.
Your summary 2 pages back, before we got yet more discussion on the sole trader which doesnt help you to focus, was not correct

There was no contract with the driver, because the offering entity was unknown
The sign did not disclose the contracting party - CCPC has no legal identity, only the Ltd company and the SOle Trade GIVING THEIR NAME would be a legal entity

POFA - no idea if they met this or not. Im not going to go back and check. However POFA does require that the NtK states the creditor, and given the NtK to what I saw did not disclose the legal entity (sole trader or Ltd company) then no creditor was disclosed, which is a failing of POFA.

just to add , the BPA are playing "operation cleasnup" as we speak

it seems that in the last 48 hrs , the nasme of the company has changed from capitol carpark control , to  capitol carpark control LTD

I took a screenshot of capitol carpark control  the other night when i was composing email to BPA about the change of name from T/A to Ltd

    I noticed the change above

The BPA must now make a statement about this and if they made a mistake or they were misled they must say.  The BPA as an ATA are on trust to the government

The important question is how the BPA had capitol carpark control LTD listed in 2009 when the company was only formed in August 2020

Sorry, you're right, s4 p7 was about the ticket, not the signage. So, who does care about signage, as people continue to say that 'if it doesn't say the name of the sole trader of the company name and number no contract is binding'? I do not understand whether this is then true or not.
