So, as in this thread, it seems transfer from AVIOS to Nectar is currently unavailable with no forecast availability date!! Not sure how long transfers have been down but it has certainly been all this week.
Just spoke to BA Executive Club customer service and they tell me it is definitely a problem with BA systems and not Nectar. Not only is online transfer down, but they say they are also unable to do the transfer.
They are unable to give any forecast when this will be fixed. Furthermore, the only escalation of this issue that is available apparently is to email BA Customer Services and raise a complaint. Apparently they are not speaking to members right now!
Effectively they have our money locked away for an indeterminate period of time. For me this leaves me unable to transfer 50,000 AVIOS a month, worth £400 in Nectar points in store.
Of course this may be a legitimate system issue that may be resolved in a few days. However, with no timescales from BA, this could go on for months and, call me a conspiracy theorist, but I can't help but be suspicious that BA have been caught unawares by how successful this scheme has become and are applying the breaks!

I Have the same problem. Loads of Avios which are of little use at the moment, but Nectar would be very usedful.

Hi everyone,
BA has promised a fix by this Friday and we've just published this news story on it here:

We will certainly be monitoring to see if this fix does indeed go through and do keep us posted if problems roll on after this date.

Thanks for digging into this for us and getting some kind of promise from BA. Just to say, though, my last transfer took 10 WORKING days, NOT calendar and when I queried it with Executive Club they confirmed (in writing, by email) that was their intended service level. The description on their web page is misleading/plain wrong!

To all people following this, you will be pleased I was just able to process an Avios to Nectar transfer request online. Seems it's back up and running.
Now we have to hope the points arrive in time for Christmas shopping!!1 -
I find this is always an issue (Avios to nectar) by the converter online it regularly goes down.
However doing it the other way doesn’t seem to ever be a problem.0 -
Yeah, thanks MSE folks for fixing this! Got my Avios points transferred and now just have to wait the 10 working days for them to turn into Nectar points. You guys are stars 🌟1

Great! Just read this thread last night and thought I'd give it a try today and it worked, thank you to MSE and those who have posted about it.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0
