House insurance often has legal cover. I used it to sue an Airline years ago.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all. Just wanted to update.you what's happening with my ccj set aside . I needed up getting a solicitor and my hearing date is in may. The solicitor asked the parking firms solicitor to consent for set aside but they refused and will challenge this at the hearing with their evidence. My solicitor is waiting for the evidence.to be sent so we.can see what they have.
I am so anxious about this. Can anyone provide any reassuring advice? Thanks0 -
Given the maximum time that you can do a Royal mail redirect for is two years and that the gap between the tickets and the court case was four years it is disgraceful that they didn't try to trace you before issuing the claim. Reckless credit clamping in my opinion, even more so if they received mail returned marked gone away.3

Thank you for your responses. I am dependent on the judges goodwill to set aside ccj. I never recieved any papers as it went to an old.address. I found out when I tried to apply.for a mortgage
I took immediate action and submitted paperwork to court within a few days through a solicitor. Thing is my life will be.ruined by these private parking scamming companies if the ccj is not set aside. In your experience what are my.chances. The company did not make any additional effort to find me they say they dont have to and just need to go by the V5 address
I have also immediately changed v5 aswell when I found out.
I am beyond worried 😒0 -

If you are beyond worried, you have not read enough threads about other posters who have been in the same situation as you and won through. You are in good hands receiving advice from @henrik777 (the forum expert on set-asides) so no need to be worried provided you follow the advice given. Haven't read back through the thread but have you now informed the parking company of your address for service and required them to inform all their agents?3 -
Yes I did give the solicitors of the parking firm my address but I havent recieved anything from them. Have I done something I shouldn't have?0
