The OP could have gone to Asda in a different car, or on foot.noitsnotme said:
They would need to have 2 identical cars as well! The OP has already said they were 2 miles away at the time of the incident.Bigphil1474 said:OP, you don't have a teenage son by any chance do you?0 -
Well that adds a new dimension to it if that’s the case. “I wasn’t involved in the crash, but I didn’t have my car with me when I was at Asda, so it might have been my car in the crash, but it must have been someone else driving”!!AdrianC said:

I assumed because the OP is insistent it wasn’t his car involved in the crash he was saying he had the car with him at Asda. Maybe I’m wrong 🤷♂️0 -

Thanks mate. Sometimes it’s too difficult to explain in writing. I have a custom rear diffuser, that looks pretty much like the standard one but has some slight differences in style. If I hadn’t the insurances supposed picture I could point out the specific differences. I know if I send this picture they will not bother to scrutinise it the way I will.Manxman_in_exile said:williamgriffin said:
He needs to show them what the car looked like in 2019.Herzlos said:Ballistic87 said:It’s hard to explain. I need to see the cctv myself come to see its basically my diffuser style, I know it’s really subtle but I would rather show the difference myself (if they let me see) as I feel they will not be able To differentiate if i show them only.
You don't have that option, they've refused.
Have you sent the insurance companies of what *your* car looks like and given their experts the opportunity to determine if it looks different to the one in the CCTV?
I mean, you've got no reason not to show the insurance what you're car looks like, right, and you'll need to show them what your car looks like if you want to assert that the diffuser is different. He hasn't said* he can't do that, has he? What he's said is he doesn't want to send them a photo because only he can identify the mods on his car. And he can only do that when he's seen the video/stills - because he can't describe them adequately beforehand.*I'm assuming you mean he won't happen to have a photo of the car at the same time as the accident(?). Apols if you mean otherwise.
Erm... Actually I was trying to highlight some of the weaknesses in your position. I was obviously being too sarcastic cryptic. Thanks anyway.
