That’s the one! It’s UKPC thank you.Redx said:The claimant parking company should be on the debt collector letters
14 days notice is a debt collector letter requiring no action , see post 4 in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum
Driver left site sounds like a UKPC claimant clientI will go and check out post 4 in the newbies FAQ thank you for sending me in the right direction1 -

Thank you that’s really helpful! I will sit tight and wait to see if I receive a 30 day letterbeamerguy said:
That is only a 14 day try on .... it means ZERO. Forget the back of the letter, it's standard rubbish to scare youTeddyM_2 said:
I’ve been given 14 days and on the back of the letter it says ‘ this case is not subject to high court or bailiff action’ which makes me think should I just ignore it?beamerguy said:I understand the concern of a novice when you see "bailiffs".
DCBL just love to play mind games and it's all very sad because they rely on the TV rubbish ...
"can't pay we'll take it away" ..... There is nothing special about DCBL
The question has been asked ..... does this misleading letter give you 14 days or 30 days to respond ?
Now you wait, maybe you will get a 30 day letter, that's when you come back here.
DCBL are as usual playing with fire ......... who can remember back to 2017, guarantee a judge won't ? The UKPC signs are in general very poor, here is one from just a few weeks ago.
The signs back in 2017 ??? who knows but if you do get a 30 day letter, proof must be supplied of their claim including the signs at the time.
If UKPC cannot provide a picture of the signs, as a BPA member, the BPA should be able to provide that, after all they do say they approve these sites

That sign appears to be a danger to low flying aircraft, lt also seems to be rather wordy, and the amount they want for non compliance is far too small, and likely to be a breach of the BPA CoP. IMO it fails to establish a contract. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

            Morning all! Newbie here
So this morning 27/01/21 I received a letter from DCBL regarding an unpaid parking charge. The notice dates back to 17/03/2016 just shy of 5 years. I worked at the NHS hospital and parking was tight so I double parked in front of colleagues cars I knew would be finished same time as me that day. I have been charged with obstruction but was in an unmarked car park on site staff only and others had done the same. Ive ignored all the UKPC letters and now I have this. Also its an old vehicle I no longer own and I have moved address since but they seem to have access to this information. they are giving me 14 days from the date of letter or legal action - the letter is 6 days old. ANY help or advice would be much appreciated.

Read the 4th post in the newbies thread , and ignore any 14 day notice letter
Plus read the advice in this thread , yours is no different , there are probably hundreds or thousands of the debt collector letters being posted at the moment , it's another side to covid financial losses by these parking companies1 -

Back to the OP; the leaving site scam is a favourite of UKPC who are very very unlikely to risk going anywhere with it for various reasons you could research (been done to death on here) they are also scraping the barrel due to lack of victims to scam in these Covid times. As for their new choice of debt collector they are just riding high on their notoriety from that awful TV programme none of which applies to their loathsome useless debt collection arm don't get to het up over it!4
