Some turtles have experience with uncooperative partners. I'm sure they will share advice. Mine's been an ex for 27 years so I can't really use him. AH, go on I will. When we got together I insisted on being in charge of the money - I told him I could not live the way he did - quite a well paid job but spent half the month moaning because he had run out of money. Every so often I would tell him we were on an economy drive and he got to eat a lot of my hm lentil soup which he loved. I did ask if his gambling was an attempt to deliberately mess up and make as big a mess as possible to see if I could sort it out.

Pizza.... burgers.... Thai.... basically anything! I make him sound really unhealthy there lol. He does like my cooking but once a week (maybe more) he fancies a takeaway so I just leave him to it most of the time lol. We split the bills 50/50 so I can't complain that that's how he spends his spare cash. We all have our vices!
