Thanks Gents. Is it worth taking some more pictures? 4 years on, there's still indequate signage and lights, was thinking it may ideal to recreate the scenario and take pictures in the car from a windscreen pov.KeithP said:

@Coupon-mad is no gent! 😆Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Other genders are available.
Yes, get pictures of the site and (covid regs permitting) to support your case. Also have a look on Google Street View to see if any images show the site, or even just the entrance, at the time of the alleged event. You can use the clock and time slider in GSV to look at images from previous years if the camera car visited the area previously.
The site may have come up here before, so do a forum search for it. Since the Search facility has been "upgraded" it is now pants, so an internet search using the same keywords but adding MSE or moneysavingexpert might give better results.

This is useful advice, thanks. I doubt it's happened to anyone else on here as it's residential and only really affect my neighbors, one who just paid it right away.Gili said:Coupon-mad said:For this period there were no visible parking policies enforced

You might be surprised how many residential threads we see here on a regular basis. I'm not saying your particular residence has featured on here before, but it is distinctly possible.
Is/was the actual parking area covered by the terms of a residential lease/AST?
As for GSV, this is the part you will need to use, near the top left of the image.
When you click on the clock icon, a time slider will appear like this.
Click on the dots or drag the big dot to see the image for the date you want, then click on the image so that it changes to the one taken at the time that you want. Click on the clock again to hide the slider.
Get images taken either side of the alleged event, then take at least one pic now to show what has or hasn't changed.

This is wonderful, it shows the same signage small and blocked from where I was parked at rainy evening:Fruitcake said:You might be surprised how many residential threads we see here on a regular basis.
