To discuss the 'topic at hand', I think the difference between us is that you looked at the image only

I do find some adverts confusing but not this one.

That's probably because I've actually seen the full advert on tv and you haven't.

The reason why Norwich Union changed their name to sell Car Insurance was that all us old fogies (yes I'm over 60) know full well what a total rip-off NU insurance of any type (used?) to be ... 
PLUS IMHO the only reason why a company would refuse to use price comparison sites is because they are never price competitive ... (I can't conform that since I never waste my time getting quotes from such companies ...)

I can confirm it is incorrect.  Sometimes the best quote I have got is from a company that is not on the comparison websites.  I think the MSE article on comparison site covers this (but it has been a long time since I have read it).
